The Los Angeles Kings have continued their road game domination with a 4-2 win against the Phoenix Coyotes. The Kings have not lost as the visiting team during these playoffs. Scoring for Los Angeles was Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown and Dwight King (2). Derek Morris and Mikkel Boedker were the only goal scorers for the Phoenix Coyotes. The Coyotes loss was in no way goaltender Mike Smith‘s fault. Smith had a phenomenal game in net stopping 44 out of 47 shots while Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick only had to make 25 saves for the win.
This game is going to be a battle between two amazing netminders and the games are only going to get better each and every night. The Kings took game 1 but don’t count the Coyotes out just yet!
