The Buffalo Sabres have now lost back-to-back games in regulation. With a 4-3 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night the Sabres now sit in 9th place in the Eastern Conference. The Washington Capitals managed to get by the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in a shootout so the Capitals are now in 8th place with 88 points.
The Sabres need to find their motivation if they want to make the playoffs. They are only two points back of the 8th and final playoff spot so they still have a good chance at making the post season but they will need to work together. The Sabres have 3 games remaining and they will need to be on the top of their game if they want to win. They play the Toronto Maple Leafs, Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins.
