Duncan Keith Suspended 5 Games

The NHL has suspended Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith 5 games for elbowing Vancouver Canucks forward Daniel Sedin. Keith elbowed Sedin in the head on Wednesday night.

Keith is order to forfeit $144,688.15 to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund. The Canucks have not released the extent of the injury to Daniel Sedin however people are speculating that he received a concussion due to the this incident. I will have more details to follow once the Canucks organization releases some information on the Sedin’s status.
