The All-Stars made the most of their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. All-Star defenseman Erik Karlsson opened up the scoring just over a minute into the game. Then All-Star forward Jason Spezza got his 4th career hat-trick to lead the Senators to a 4-0 win over the Lightning. Ottawa goaltender Craig Anderson made 28 saves for his 2nd shutout of the season. The Senators have struggled tremendously since they hosted the All-Star Weekend so hopefully a big win like this will get them on the right track again. The record for the last ten games is 2-6-2 but they have still managed to hold onto 7th place in the East.
The Ottawa Senators will face-off against the red hot Florida Panthers tonight. The Panthers have won 3 games in a row and are currently in 3rd place but with Ottawa’s big win last night they are looking to keep their momentum going tonight.
