Well the Toronto Maple Leafs struggled early in Vancouver. Alex Burrows and Manny Malhotra scored on James Reimer to the give Canucks a 2-0 lead. Just over three minutes into the 2nd period Burrows nets his 2nd goal of the night. Dion Phaneuf finally gets Toronto on the board with a goal on Roberto Luongo. But Daniel Sedin answered right back with the Canucks 4th goal of the night.
Goaltender Jonas Gustavsson came in to relieve James Reimer but that didn’t stop the Canucks. Sami Salo scored less than a minute later to give Vancouver a 5-1 lead. Kevin Bieksa scored on Gustavsson in the 3rd period to give the Canucks a 6-1 lead. The Leafs get a late goal by Nikolai Kulemin but it was too little too late for Toronto. The final score was 6-2 in favor of Vancouver. Henrik and Daniel Sedin stepped up their game tonight combining for a total of 8 points against the Maple Leafs.
