The Pittsburgh Penguins gave forward James Neal at six year extension worth $30 million. Neal has come a long way since last season with the Penguins. Last season he had 1 goal and 5 assists in 20 games but this season he’s one of the best Penguins on the ice. Neal has 30 goals and 26 assists so far this season and is second overall for Pittsburgh in points with 56. Neal has been an asset to the Penguins team this season and has stepped up in every way possible to help Pittsburgh be a successful team. James Neal took place in this year’s All-Star festivities and has really made himself into an amazing hockey player. He has worked hard all season to get to where his is today and his hard work has paid off now that he gets to stay with the Penguins.
