Habs beat Pens in a Shootout Thriller

Louis Leblanc gets the scoring started for the Montreal Canadiens. Lars Eller gets a cheeky goal off of Marc-Andre Fleury to give the Canadiens a 2-0 lead. The Penguin’s Pascal Dupuis and James Neal bring the score to 2-2. At the end of the 3rd period things got a little rough as PK Subban gave Evgeni Malkin a couple of hits then Pittsburgh defenseman Kris Letang tried to go after Subban.

After overtime and 8 rounds of a shootout; the Montreal Canadien’s forward Tomas Plekanec scores the winning goal and Carey Price holds on for the victory. The Canadiens have now won 2 straight games.
